"The Rock Restaurant deserves more than 5 stars in my eyes. We were greeted at the door and led through the hotel to the restaurant. The staff were very helpful throughout the night. The food was fantastic and tasted great, to say the least. A big shout out to Beth, who made the night go smoothly . Thank you, Beth."

"The guys from Michelin Guide Rouge should come and review this place. It’s an absolutely fantastic location. Service, food, wine list, and atmosphere are all stunning. Our server Amy was wonderful. There is nothing else like this on the island. My photo of the soufflé was taken 30 seconds after it arrived to the table. It was another inch taller when it was first arrived. lt was absolute perfection. It takes a huge amount of training and time to execute at this level. Congratulations to all at The Rock!"

"I recently went to The Rock as part of a corporate charter with Seaseeker Charters where Nadia organised and booked the table on our behalf. Firstly, the pick up from Edward at Yarmouth Marina in The Rock minibus was excellent. Edward is a brilliant chauffeur and we really felt like we arrived in style. Once we arrived at The Rock, we were greeted by Alice who took us to our table which was on a private terrace in the sunshine with views out across Freshwater - breath-taking views. All of our servers throughout the lunch were exceptional, the food and drink was outstanding and I couldn't recommend The Rock enough. I would 100% visit The Rock again and this was one of our highlights from the charter. If anyone is doing a charter, I would highly recommend booking The Rock as part of your day trip!!"

"We had grilled lemon sole, haddock and chips, bread basket, Whiskiki and plum drop cocktails for dinner on our first night's stay at the Albion, Good Friday. The food was absolutely delicious, perfect. And the cocktails were just superb, in fact more than superb. (Forgot to take photos) Breakfast on the morning after was also very very good. I loved the selection of fruit and nuts. So we went back on our second night stay for dinner. Food was just as delicious. We had haddock and chips again cos the fish is fresh and the batter soft and fluffy. Steak was not quite as the requested well done, but nobody asked if it was cooked enough. Still the Steak was tasty. However, when the Whiskiki cocktail arrived it tasted nothing like the cocktail the night before. On Friday, it tasted amazing, and adorned with little flowers. On Saturday, it was sickly sweet and looked different. Staff advised that it was due to fact that different person had made it. The staff lady helped take the cocktail back and brought something less sugary back, but it still tasted flat. Hey-ho, I just drank it. The service staff are friendly and helpful, but little consistency of service. The first night we had very professional spot on service, with a very experienced lady staff waiting on us. After signing the bill to the room, the receipt is put in a Rock restaurant card folder and handed to you with two hands. Perfect, quality standard and makes good memories of our holiday. (See photo) The second night, we had a young guy, and we didn't even get a receipt. The location of the restaurant and views are hard to beat. Views are so good if lucky enough to sit outside or at the windows. Views of Freshwater bay and the rocks. Inside also comfortable and your dog can come with you."
